Last September, hundreds came out to enjoy Cohasset Village. The success of the first annual Cohasset Day — that included food, community, shopping, games and classic cars — made it a must to hold the event again this year.
Cohasset Day is set for Saturday, Sept. 12 (rain date is Sunday, Sept. 13) and will feature nearly the same events that made last year’s celebration so well attended. more...

Cohasset Chamber of Commerce, 2008

The First Annual Cohasset Day took place on a glorious September afternoon. From 12 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, over 2000 people turned out for this day of activity and celebration. The Cohasset Economic Development Committee in partnership with the Cohasset Chamber of Commerce orchestrated this event after months of painstaking planning and coordination. Opening of Cohasset Day with Festive St. Stephen’s Carillon Music

1:00 – 2:00
Parade Procession:
Decorated Bicycles
Daughters of the American
Revolution
Music by “The Rusty Skippers”
The procession will start at the corner of South Main and Brook, proceed on South Main, turn on Depot Court and return to Brook via the Municipal
Parking.

2:00 – 5:00
Games for Kids and Families on the Common

2:00 – 2:45
F ashion Show by Local Boutiques on the South Main Street Stage, at the corner of Elm Street

2:45 – 4:30
Cohasset Classic Car Concours. Contestants will enter the village at South Main Street and Brook, proceed along South Main, up and around the Common where they will remain parked until 4:30 for all to admire and vote
for “Best of Show”, “Hottest Car” and“Kids Favorite”.

3:00 – 4:00
Music by Aldous Collins
on the South Main Street Stage

4:00 – 6:00
Fine Food Galore on South Main. The best local restaurants & food
purveyors will treat all ticket holders with samples of their creation. (Ticket
cost: Family $20 & Individual $10)
